Streaming and other Challenges

Yo whats up my Stalkers!

It has been awhile since i've blogged and I thought it would be a nice time to do so again.
I've been busy upgrading my pc and still rocking the Minecraft series. If you haven't seen it you really should check out www.youtube.com/stalkerkoffie

Other then recording I have tried out a test stream on www.twitch.tv/Stalkerkoffie and I must say it is awesome to talk to people LIVE while playing games.

When I first started recording it was really hard to talk about everything and nothing, I mostly talked about the game back then and there were long pauses. But now my video's tend to be longer then I expected and I have to cut myself off from talking:)

With streaming games I can just talk for hours on end without having to cut myself off.
Thats why I really want to start streaming more, since it would be both good for my Youtube and for me personally. I get to actually interact with people, and people tend to speak there minds sooner on a chat where they know they will get a response then on a Youtube channel :)

Although so far I think I have responded to each and everyones message, just because I get excited when someone puts a comment in there :)

Also I had a bit of a Challenge with my girlfriend yesterday, she thought I could not drink coffee for 24 hours without me having problems with it. Well It's been about 34 hours without coffee and I actually felt not any different then without coffee.(just got tired a bit earlier then normal) I just missed the taste of my black heavenly liquid:)

It's been a long time!

Wow this has been a long time since i've blogged anything!

I have reinstalled windows about a month ago? (Maybe even longer actually)
And other then that, i have been really busy making video's for Youtube.

I'm around 60 video's (thats 18Hours 38Minutes and 43 seconds of recordings!) at the moment, but it's still really hard to get this whole Youtube business off the ground.

The subscriber count + video views are not that bad, but still, i have a long way to go if i want to
make this my full time job.
Don't get me wrong, i absolutely LOVE making video's and commentating and editing everything. It is by FAR the BEST thing i have ever done. But i do want to think about the future as well.

Me and my gf want to move to a bigger place, so we can have are own rooms where we can have some "me-time" for ourselfs.

And i would love to start streaming aswell, but i want to do that in the evening, and not in the morning when i wake up. I want to be fit and entertaining for that, not tired and still waking up :)
And as things are now, there is no room for me streaming in the evening, because i don't want any other noise entering the Mic when i'm recording/streaming. And the TV is really close by my computer(in the same room). So that is a no-go for me.

I mostly do my video recordings during the day, but we live inside the center of town, and there is a lot of noise outside. So i have to shut all the windows/curtains to dampen the noise outside.

Other then all of that, i feel good, i am happy, and most important, i am healthy.
Oh and I've quite cigarettes since 16-08-2012! I do smoke though, but I am using an E-cig now. You still get some nicotine, but you don't get the tar and all the other nasty stuff.

I've been having A LOT of ENERGY lately, and I'm actually sort of HYPER as well! Which is really strange, cause I am always really calm and quiet :)
On the other hand, it's really a good thing when you want to make video's that your active and a bit hyper :)

Wow this is turning into a lot of text(!!) now that i look at it! I'd better quit before people start to expect this kind of wall of text everytime :)

Feeling Sick :(

Hello everyone, if there is even anyone out there that actually reads this :)

Since a couple of days i have been feeling rather sick, my throat and nose are acting up, and at the moment i am sneezing myself silly. (tissues literally everywhere)

I really want to record my new episodes, but with this coughing and sneezing going on, it's not very likely :(

I will keep everyone posted(at least if you read this)

A bit of problems with recording - cats

Today i had a bit of trouble recording, me and my gf have got 2 cats, and normally they sleep through-out the day, but today they decided to make a lot of noise while i was trying to record.

My throat also decided to act up a little bit, so i'm keeping it as moist as possible so i don't have to cough so much.

The video finally is uploaded to youtube, which took a bit of time also, but it's ready to be viewed!

Minecraft - Super Hostile series

Finally my microphone stand is doing what it's suppose to do.
Just recorded the first episode of my Minecraft - Super Hostile Series by Vechs - Sea of Flame II 3.0.

Now to edit the whole thing to make it a bit nicer and then upload it to Youtube!

If everything goes as it should, tomorrow i should be able to do some more recording again!
Today i got an email that the package was in Holland, and with a bit of luck it should be delivered at my doorstep tomorrow!

Microphone stand breaks..

This is just great, i wanted to start recording in the afternoon, and guess what?

My microphone stand just broke off! The point where you can adjust it just gave up on me...
I e-mailed the company where i got it from, so they can give me my money back or sell me one that doesn't just break off like that.

The only thing thats connected to the microphone stand is my mic with a shock booster and a pop filter, and it couldn't even handle that..

Bah :(

I hope i hear from them soon, else i will just buy something elsewhere.

Finally done with that damn intro :)

I recorded a bit of footage now with me speaking over it, first couple of times the sound of the game was way too loud for me to be able to speak through it.
Now i separated the speech and the gameplay video from eachother and it fits nicely, just a bit more editting and we can put it up Youtube!

I still wasn't quite satisfied with the intro, so after a tip from my brother i decided to edit it a little bit more, it now has a crunchy 70's feel to it, and it ends in a Bang :)

Making an Intro

Hello fellow bloggers,

Today i woke up early and started on making my intro for the gameplay commentary series.
It's not really absolutely necessary to make an intro, but i like mucking around with audio files en video files, and it came out quite funny :)

Now for the actual gameplay commentary!

Luck has changed!

When i woke up today, the doorbel rang and guess what!
It's the Audio equipment that i ordered!
This weekend i will be preparing/clearing my voice and with a bit of luck, recording some gameplay video's!

No luck this week..

Bah bah and some more bah..
I got an email that the order won't be delivered until the upcoming Monday, So 4 more days waiting is left...

I want to start making some video's!

YES!

Today i got a text message that the delivery was send, now lets hope it gets in today so we can work on this new adventure i'd like to call "Youtube meets Stalkerkoffie" :)

Diablo 3 tonight!

Hello peeps, for the ones who see this or follow this :)

Tonight Diablo 3 will commence and i would like to start frapsing it, but i still have to wait for my audio set to come in. I will be playing Diablo 3 tonight, just not frapsing it sadly :(

For the ones that will also be playing it, enjoy yourself and rip the mobs a new one :p

Anxious i await..

Today i got the payment for the Audio Equipment done, when i receive a mail from them, it will be the one saying it got send.

Getting really anxious about it, jumping for joy while i wait!

Audio gear, where are thou!

Can't wait till the audio gear will come in! It will probably be Tuesday or Wednesday with a bit of luck.
Till then i am preparing for the series..

Lets make this entertaining for every gamer out there!

Chinese food and good idea's!

So today after eating some Chinese food for dinner, i decided to order/purchase the equipment i need for getting some pro audio to go along with the video.

I ordered the following:
Audio Technic AT2020 USB (Prof. USB Microphone)
The t.Bone MS180 (pop shield)
Samson SP01 (shock mount)
Millenium MS-2005 (Microphone stand)

Hope to get this delivered somewhere early next week. So i can finally start recording and get this show on the road!
